What better way to kick off the summer than with Tacos, Cerveza, and Tequila! Join us in downtown Royal Oak through July 3 - July 6 for a street festival including eats from over 50 taquerias and eateries, ice-cold margaritas at the Fro-Zone, 3 stages of live entertainment, and more! Taco Fest presents a carefully crafted entertainment lineup that’s appealing to all ages. The event will feature some of the region’s most impressive musical talent line-ups, with a range of musical genres and styles performing all day that will please any crowd.
The Royal Oak Taco Fest is family-friendly, featuring loads of fun for all ages at the Kids Zone, including bounce houses and splash pad, face painting, crafts, and so much more! Guests will enjoy hours of action-packed entertainment with Lucha Libre wrestling, Mechanical Bull Rides, daily contests including the Taco Twosome Showdown and timed taco-eating contests, tequila sampling, artisan vendors, and more.

Tommy Chong Meet & Greet
Tommy Chong will join us for a special appearance on July 5 and 6 for a meet & greet and photos. Best known as one half of the legendary Cheech & Chong comedy duo, Chong has spent decades bringing laughter to fans while championing cannabis culture. He’ll be on site promoting Cheech & Chong’s Cannabis Co., The appearance will be in partnership with JARS Cannabis and take place adjacent to the JARS Lounge, with times to be announced soon.
